CM Films started somewhere completely different — I was travelling and filming for myself, just documenting places and moments because I loved doing it. People kept telling me I had an eye for it, that I should try something more than travel clips. I didn't quite believe them until I filmed my first wedding. Somewhere between the vows and the last dance, I fell completely in love with it — and I've been filming weddings ever since, across the UK and once, unforgettably, in Moldova.
I'm not interested in staged perfection. I'm interested in your dad's face during the first dance, the joke your best friend botches in her toast, the five seconds after "I do" before anyone claps. That's the film I want to give you back.
